Samyukta Karthik, a sophomore at Amador Valley High School, is a passionate and dedicated student at known for her commitment to excellence across academics, arts, and athletics.

She began her journey in Bharatanatyam, an Indian Classical Dance, at the age of four, training under her mother, Smt. Lakshmi Karthik, before continuing her learning under Smt. Nityalakshmi Iyer at the RagaMudra School of Music and Dance. She grew up captivated by the rhythm, storytelling, and expressive beauty of dance. Over the years, dance has shaped her discipline, confidence, and ability to express powerful stories through movement. Her Arangetram marks a significant milestone in this journey. Bharatanatyam continues to be an important part of Samyukta's life, serving as a source of creativity, connection, and personal growth. She looks forward to continuing her journey as a student and performer while carrying forward the traditions and values the art form has taught her.

Beyond dance, Samyukta is deeply engaged in language and community learning. She has a strong passion for French and actively tutors middle school students helping them build confidence and strengthen their language skills through her tutoring service, Salut Tutoring Services.

She is also a competitive badminton player, bringing the same focus and perseverance from the stage to the court. Through sports, she has developed resilience, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of discipline.

In addition, Samyukta serves as co-president of Amador Valley Laasya, where she works to promote Indian classical dance and perform a variety of Indian Classical Dances through the performance team.
